Sure, Danish libraries have apparently ventured forth into the ‘scary’ world of e-books, but my experience so far (accessing on my computer) is that the quality is so crappy and the interface so slow and unmanageable that it’s more of a deterrent to reading than anything… I don’t know much about e-book publishing, but from what I’ve heard, some of the larger publishing houses are trying to lock down the market in much the same way as is happening in the US – which seems really unfeasible in a country of some 5 million people.

I totally agree with you. I still haven’t bought an e-book-reader and the DRM is the only reasong. I want a device that lets me buy the books I want to read from where ever I want. I probably will cave in at some point and buy one, but it really is frustrating.
